HISTORY…
Founded in 1973 under the name Barbara Personnel Inc. (BPI) by Barbara Cloutier, the company built its expertise and a solid reputation in recruitment and hiring of personnel with the federal government, and institutions and companies throughout the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Ms. Cloutier was highly active throughout her career, and received several awards, in particular for her involvement in various causes for the good of the Outaouais and Ottawa communities.
In the fall of 2020, Ms. Cloutier wanted to retire while ensuring that the visionary and strategic qualities of BPI would be maintained. The company was taken over by Anne-Marie Proulx and Marc Patry.
Previously, Anne-Marie Proulx had a noteworthy career: Director general of the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce for five years, she then rose through the ranks at the Société de transport de l’Outaouais over 17 years, in the partnerships, communications and development division. Now she manages day-to-day operations and company development.
Marc Patry, entrepreneur for more than 20 years, is the principal partner of PPTA Financial Services and co-owner of La Squadra restaurant. He acts as principal investor. With his entrepreneurial experience and knowledge, he supports the vision and positioning of the organization.
Resolutely turned toward the future, and the expanding needs of companies, BPI has become Tango – HR Solutions. It will maximize its services to support businesses in all their needs related to talent management.
